The Bader Group, a major and rapidly expanding player in the recycling, transport and recovery of metals and waste in Switzerland, has entrusted Geekworkers with the mission of design, develop and maintain several key Group websites (Bader Group, Metabader, MLK, TRB, Copper, TFR, etc.). The main objective is to strengthening the group's image as a coherent entity ('family') while at the same time developing and clarifying our digital presence of its various companies and specialities. A phase of consulting and modelling (Business Analysis) was carried out to define the architecture and strategy of this digital ecosystem.
To respond to the complexity and ambitions of the Bader Group, Geekworkers has implemented a strategy based on a coherent multi-site architecture and proven technology:
Strategy: Multi-Site Architecture and Unified Graphic Charter
An approach multi-sites WordPress (or centralised management of separate sites with a common charter) has been defined. A "Bader Group" portal site serves as a central hub, presenting the history, values, key figures and certifications (ISO) of the Group, while providing links to the subsidiaries. A common graphic charter ensures visual consistency.
Strategy: Development or redesign of subsidiary websites on WordPress/Elementor
Each key subsidiary (Metabader as the central business site, then MLK, TRB, Copper, TFR...) has or will have its own WordPress site, developed with Elementor Pro. Each site details the subsidiary's specific services (e.g. tipper hire for MLK, metal trading for TRB), news and contact information.
Strategy: Logical Internal Networking and Clear Menus
The Bader Group site includes a clear menu or section presenting the various companies with direct links to their respective sites. Conversely, the sites of the subsidiaries are a reminder that they belong to the group and can link to the main site or other relevant entities.
Strategy: Common Technology Stack and Management Tools
The use of a common stack (WordPress, Elementor, Rank Math SEO, WP Armour) simplifies maintenance and updates. Tools such as Site Kit by Google allow centralised (or site-specific) performance monitoring. Ongoing maintenance is provided by Geekworkers.
Thanks to Geekworkers' strategy and support, the Bader Group now has a stronger, better organised digital presence:
This major project demonstrates our ability to manage complex web projects involving several interconnected sites, by combining strategic vision (Business Analysis), technical expertise (multi-site WordPress) and rigorous project management.
