NCAcademy, a leading distance learning centre in French-speaking Switzerland, wanted to modernise its digital presence to better reflect the quality of its offerings and improve student acquisition. Faced with an existing site requiring an overhaul of the user experience and navigation, Geekworkers was commissioned to carry out a complete transformation. The aim was to restructure the information, revamp the brand image and create a more intuitive, conversion-oriented platform, while simplifying the contact process.
To meet NCAcademy's ambitions, Geekworkers orchestrated a complete overhaul focused on the user and performance, based on a proven WordPress technology stack:
Strategy: UX/UI overhaul and revamped graphic charter
A new user interface (UI) has been designed with Elementor Pro, more modern and aligned with current e-learning standards. The user experience (UX) has been redesigned to be intuitive, making it easier to discover the courses and understand NCAcademy's unique value proposition. While retaining the spirit of the existing graphic charter, it has been refreshed and applied consistently throughout the site.
Strategy: Taxonomic Restructuring and Logical Navigation
In-depth work on taxonomy and information architecture was carried out beforehand. Content was reorganised for greater clarity. Crocoblock, in particular JetEngine, was used to structure and dynamically display information relating to training courses, trainers and testimonials, making navigation fluid and logical.
Strategy: Optimised User Experience and Engagement Tools
The user path has been simplified to guide users naturally towards making contact or requesting a brochure. Clear calls to action have been strategically integrated. The implementation of an online appointment booking system directly on the site has streamlined the conversion tunnel, simplifying the process for both prospects and NCAcademy. Anti-spam measures such as WP Armour have been put in place to protect the forms.
Strategy: High-performance technology stack and initial SEO optimisation
The site was developed on WordPress with Elementor Pro and Crocoblock to combine design flexibility with dynamic content management capabilities. Search engine optimisation was initiated with Rank Math SEO, structuring content and meta tags correctly. Emphasis was placed on performance and security right from the development phase to ensure a sound basis for future growth and the planned Google Ads campaigns.
Thanks to the strategic redesign carried out by Geekworkers, NCAcademy now has a modern, intuitive and conversion-optimised website that fully reflects the quality of its distance learning courses.
