Development of the Complete Digital Ecosystem for Animals Cocoon

Starting from scratch, Geekworkers designed and implemented the entire Animals Cocoon platform in several strategic stages:

  • Designing distinct but coherent user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) for owners and professionals.
  • Creation of detailed interactive models on figma to visualise and validate user paths before development.
  • Emphasis on simplicity, clarity of information and ease of use (booking, profile management, etc.).

3. Development of the Web Platform and Functionalities

Strategy: Using WordPress and Crocoblock for a Powerful and Flexible Solution

  • Development of the platform on WordPress for its robustness and ecosystem.
  • Use ofElementor Pro for building pages and customising the design.
  • Extensive implementation of the suite Crocoblock :
    • JetEngine To create custom content types (Professionals, Services, Pets, etc.), taxonomies, complex relationships and advanced user profiles (dashboards).
    • JetBooking / JetAppointment To set up an online service booking system with availability management for professionals.
    • JetFormBuilder For registration, contact and, potentially, notice submission forms.
    • JetSmartFilters To enable owners to filter and easily search for professionals according to various criteria (location, type of service, animal species, etc.).
  • Development of a tailor-made back office and intuitive, allowing the Animals Cocoon team to manage all the platform's users, content, bookings and settings.

4. Technical and SEO optimisation

Strategy: Ensuring Performance, Reliability and Visibility

  • Rigorous optimisation of loading speed and overall performance using specialist plugins such as WP-Rocket (cache), Imagine (image optimisation), and Perfmatters (script/style clean-up).
  • Implementing a strategy SEO fundamental with Rank Math to optimise the site's structure and content and improve its visibility on search engines (particularly for the professional directory).

5. Professional Acquisition Strategy

Strategy: Building the Marketplace Offer via Targeted Marketing

  • Strategic advice on canvassing and acquiring the first professionals (vets, groomers, etc.).
  • Design, launch and management of targeted advertising campaigns on Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram) and Google Ads to attract professionals and encourage them to register on the platform.
  • Monitoring campaign performance and optimising to maximise the number of qualified registrations.
