Design and Development of a Global Marketplace for Music Teaching
Strategic phase: Validation and positioning
Strategy: In-depth market analysis and definition of product vision
Before any lines of code were written, Geekworkers invested time in a detailed understanding of the market and the founder's vision. A market research (approximately 20 hours) enabled us to analyse existing platforms, identify potential niches and define a differentiating marketing strategy. At the same time, a preliminary SEO study (approximately 20 hours) was carried out to identify keyword opportunities, anticipate technical requirements for referencing and guide the information architecture of the future platform.
User-centred UX/UI design
Strategy: Create a Professional, Intuitive and Multilingual Interface
The design of the web application (approximately 50 hours) was carried out with particular attention paid to the user experience (UX) for the two main targets: teachers and students. The visual identity, based on shades of blue, black and white, was designed to evoke the professionalism, confidence and dynamism of the music community. Interactive mock-ups and prototypes were created to validate the ergonomics of key functionalities such as the lesson booking system, the teacher search (with filters) and the flexible management of timetables, with a structure designed from the outset to be as user-friendly as possible. multilingual.
Advanced Technical Development with WordPress and JetEngine
Strategy: Build a robust, feature-rich platform
Development of the web application (around 120 hours) was carried out on WordPresschosen for its flexibility and vast ecosystem. The power of the suite Crocoblockand more specifically JetEnginewas used to :
- Create custom content types (Teachers, Lessons, Instruments, Musical styles).
- Establish the complex relationships between these contents (one teacher teaches several instruments/styles, offers different courses).
- Develop the marketplace's dynamic features: advanced user profiles, specific dashboards for teachers and students.
- Building the lesson booking system with availability and time slot management.
- Set up advanced search filters (by instrument, style, location, availability, etc.) using JetSmartFilters.
Elementor Pro was used to build the front-end interfaces, offering extensive visual customisation and easy maintenance.
Continuous and Iterative Optimisation
Strategy: Agility and Return-Based Improvement
After the launch, Geekworkers worked closely with Polymusiq to gather feedback from the first users. Adjustments and improvements were made iteratively, in particular to perfect the display and interaction on the tabletsdemonstrating an agile approach and a long-term commitment to quality.
